I have never played WOW.. why is it so unloved? People who used to play it are full of hate.. but the people who play it love to love it..

I Don't play it anymore. And i still love it I think its because it cost money to play. 15 dollors a month.

You probably saw my own Blog about WoW in the past couple of days. Like I said, I played for a year, and still play a few hours a week. The reason I'm no longer a big fan of the game is because when I started playing, the majority of the time I spent ingame was spent actually playing the game. Now that I have two level 70 toons, both with really nice gear, I almost have to spend a huge majority of my time farming, just so I can afford to repair my gear (which takes durability loss as you fight, and at a much faster rate if your character dies), use flasks, foods, and potions that increase my stats (which has almost become an official requirement), and for expensive enchants for new gear upgrades I earn.

That's the biggest reason, for me personally. Less time spent playing, more time grinding mobs endlessly, while dealing with people who enjoy spending their time hassling other players. It's just more of an annoyance than it is fun, imo.
